What Drama Square is

Drama Square (“we,” “us”) is a camera-first app operated by Drama Square, contactable at dramasquare@proton.me. You open the lens, capture a moment, and save or share it from your device. Your profile links the identities you already have on the wider social web.

Your account

You need an account to use the lens. You can sign in with email and password or a phone number. You must be old enough to consent to a digital services contract in your country (13+, or 16+ in parts of the EU). Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.

Your content stays yours

Photos and videos you capture through the lens live on your device. When you choose to share, you decide where they go.

For content you do submit to Drama Square (your avatar image, profile fields, social links you add, sponsored anchors you place), you grant Drama Square a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, cache, reproduce, adapt for display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the service. This license is limited to what the service needs to function, terminates when you delete the content or your account, and never permits sale of your content or use in third-party advertising without your separate consent.

Intellectual property

Drama Square, the drama² wordmark, the app, its source code, designs, and all related materials are owned by Drama Square and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the service or its distinctive elements except as the law expressly allows.

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the service, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation, and you assign any rights in that feedback to Drama Square.

Assignment and change of control

You may not assign or transfer your account or these terms. Drama Square may assign these terms, and transfer all associated user data, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, corporate reorganisation, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets, in each case without further notice or consent, provided the successor agrees to be bound by the terms then in effect (including this privacy notice). Your rights under these terms and the privacy notice continue against the successor.

Free tier watermark

Captures saved or shared on the Free plan carry the small “drama²” wordmark in the corner. Paid plans remove it. Removing, obscuring, or altering the watermark on Free-tier captures is not permitted.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Drama Square to harass, defame, or deceive anyone; to capture or share content sexualising minors; to infringe intellectual property; or to violate any applicable law. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules or that create risk for other members.

Subscriptions and ad credits

Paid plans and ad credits are billed through Stripe. Prices, plan features, and credit packs are shown on the Pricing page. Subscriptions renew until you cancel from the billing page. Ad credits are non-refundable once spent on a sponsored drop and expire per the terms shown at purchase. Statutory rights of withdrawal (for example, the EU 14-day right for digital services) apply where required by law.

Sponsored drops (Business plan)

Business subscribers can place sponsored drops that appear in the lens near a location they choose. Sponsored content must comply with local advertising rules, must be clearly identifiable as an ad, and must not target minors. We may reject or remove drops that break these rules.

Third-party services

We rely on Supabase (auth, database, storage), Stripe (payments), and optional OAuth providers you choose to sign in with. Their terms apply to the parts of the service they provide.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Deletion removes your profile, social links, ad-credit ledger, subscription record, stored media, and audit history from our systems. Some records required by law (for example, tax records tied to payments) may be retained by Stripe or by us for the periods the law requires.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drama Square is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, consumer protection rights).

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be surfaced in-app before they take effect, with a plain summary of what changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Drama Square’s place of establishment, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
